Once upon a time there was an odd girl
She had dark eyes and she was different than all the others
She had dreams and she had plans
She’d been told all her life, she had to find her way out!
She did not belong, she was lost and never found

So she waited for her fight, she went along, she did her part
She knew where she belonged, she knew where she would be found

Then came the change, she'd been waiting for
She was found, when no one expected so
She'd fallen hard for the angel of redemption

Their love was an outlaw
They called it transgression
But she didn't care, for her angel would take her away
Would give her hope and the strength to get through the day

So that was her fight, she went along and she fought her part
She knew where she belonged, she knew where she would be found

Little did our odd girl know
When you're odd, its always a no
Angel or not, you will never belong.
